I am a passionate mental health support worker who has recently graduated from Humber College’s Mental Health and Addictions program. I am a professional who aims to enrich the lives of others by working with a myriad of lenses, including through trauma informed, harm reductive, strengths-based, feminist, anti-oppressive and anti-racist approaches.

Despite my recent entry to this field, I already have numerous experiences under my belt. In my position at the Reach Out Centre for Kids, I effectively supported 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and their families in fostering stronger communication, building coping skills, and navigating the mental health system. I also work at an organization called DramaWay, where we use arts-based programming to empower developmentally disabled folks to strengthen their creative and practical abilities through group support.

My approach to this work is client-centred, empathic, and grounded in my own self-reflection so that I can consistently provide you with the best service possible. I am excited to support individuals and families on their journeys, grounded in the knowledge that each person is an expert in their own experience. Let’s chat!

Hi, my name is Noah Haripersaud, and I am a dedicated Child and Youth Care (CYC) professional with a strong passion for supporting the well-being of children, youth, and families. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care from Sheridan College, where I gained hands-on experience in trauma-informed care, strength-based approaches, and culturally responsive practices.

Throughout my journey, I’ve worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel and York in various mentorship and group facilitation roles. I’ve supported youth through programs like Game On, Conversation Club for high school newcomers, and Wellness Warriors, promoting mental health and personal development in inclusive, supportive spaces. I also helped lead community workshops and one-on-one mentorship to empower youth in reaching their full potential.

In addition, I’ve worked at a private school supporting children with autism in grades 1 through 8, assisting with classroom learning, emotional regulation, and daily routines to foster a positive and inclusive educational experience.

Whether working one-on-one or in group settings, I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
